Dr. Ke Chen, partner of Shanghai Allbright Law Offices, recently advised Shandong Nuclear Power Co. for its project financing work to raise over 30 trillion RMB to be used for construction of the nuclear power station (phase I) in Shandong province. The nuclear facilities and technology are introduced to China from Westinghouse, the USA supplier. Dr. Chen，assisted by Dr. Lee, has led his legal team over the last two years in service to the client during the entire project financing work. The signing of the undertaking contract in this March was a milestone for the project. Financing documents are expected for signing by this summer. Dr. Ke Chen’s legal expertise and his team’s works are helping China’s some other projects in infrastructure and/or energy sector which are of national importance.
