Mr. Zhu is the Senior Partner of AllBright Law Offices. He is also appointed as the International Arbitrator by China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).

 

Mr. Zhu focuses his practice on cross-border transactions, including both inbound and outbound investments.

  

Notable cases:

 

1.  Carlyle Group’s USD$450 million investments into China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd, completed in 2007. This case is awarded as the Deal of Year in Private Equity & Venture Capital in 2007.

 

2. Intel Capital’s $12 million investment into Shanghai Media Group (SMG), to develop broadband online TV program, completed in 2008.   It’s a landmark case in foreign investment in China’s media industry.
