Mao Guowei is a senior partner of Shanghai Allbright Law Office. Mr. Gu graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law. Mr. Mao was the judge of Shanghai’s No.1 Intermediate People’s Court, Shanghai’s Intermediate People’s Court, and Shanghai’s High People’s Court.

Mr. Mao has worked in the people’s court since May 1988 and began to work as a professional lawyer since March 2001. 

Being a judger for over ten years, Mr. Mao had worked in both civil and commercial legal fields with several hundreds of cases, covering real estate, intellectual property rights, finance and company, etc. Mr. Mao was awarded “master-hand judge” in 1988.

As a lawyer, Mr. Mao covers a wide range of legal service fields, including real estate, intellectual property rights, company and bank finance, etc. Some of Mr. Mao’s cases have been regarded as educational sample cases by many High People’s Courts even Supreme People’s Court.

Mr. Mao also works on non-lawsuit business, including real estate, M&A, finance, intellectual property rights, civil construction and investment… Mr. Mao not only provides legal service to local economic construction, but also provides legal suggestions to the army.
