QIU, Weixin

Qiu Weixin is B114,C115:C117a partner at AllBright Law Offices in Shanghai. His practice areas include banking and finance, corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and securities and capital markets.

Mr. Qiu has spent the last two decades working on the development of asset management in the Chinese financial market and designing wealth management products for major banks. He has customized wealth management products for banks’ high-end private clients, designed product transaction structures and prepared legal documents for trust companies, provided legal services for asset management businesses of brokers and funds, provided legal services for insurance asset investments, provided legal services for the bad asset acquisitions and the debt restructuring of asset management companies. Mr. Qiu has also provided legal services to PE investment funds, provided legal advice on transaction compliance and the structure of financial assets. The amount of assets under his advisement exceeded RMB 15 billion for two consecutive years in 2011 and 2012.

Mr. Qiu graduated from the East China University of Political Science and Law.

Mr. Qiu is a practicing lawyer in China and is qualified to engage in securities-related legal services granted by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and the Ministry of Justice. He is also qualified to register enterprises as granted by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC). His working language is Mandarin.
