On May 8, 2013, AllBright Senior Partner Jane Lu was invited to deliver a lecture at a training program to more than 100 business executives in the National Deyang Economic & Technological Development Area in Sichuan Province.

During the lecture, Lu comprehensively and thoroughly briefed the audience on the major legal risks of business operations, mergers and acquisitions, labor issues, IP protection and corporate governance.  She also offered solutions to such issues based on several real life cases. Through a Q&A session, she shared her experiences and expertise on the practice of law with the audience, addressing their specific needs. Her professional knowledge and demeanor won her great admiration from the audience.

The National Deyang Economic & Technological Development Area is a national high-tech park close to Chengdu City, capitol of Sichuan. The park encourages industries involved in the “new energy, new equipment, and new materials” and the modern services sectors. The park is among the first batch of industrial zones to be accredited as a National Model of New Industry, an honor granted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Deyang also enjoys the status of a China Clean-Tech & New Energy Equipment Manufacturing Industry International Experimental Project, which was accredited by the United Nations.
