Liu Chunpeng is a Senior Partner of AllBright Law Offices and Senior Partner of AllBright Law Offices (Qingdao Office). With more than a decade of dedicated experience in commercial dispute resolution, he has participated in the research and development of judicial policies and regulatory frameworks relating to civil and commercial adjudication.

Pre-arbitration Asset Preservation for Marelli Automotive Lighting (Foshan) Co., Ltd.

Represented the client in obtaining the first pre-arbitration asset preservation order issued by a Qingdao court. The preservation order was executed within four days, securing priority over competing creditors and establishing an important judicial precedent for similar arbitration-related preservation cases.

Financing Trade Dispute Involving a Qingdao Trading Company (State-owned Enterprise Guarantee Liability)

Successfully persuaded the court to pierce the transactional structure and determine that the arrangement, although documented as a sale and purchase transaction, was in substance a financing loan. The court departed from the conventional approach limiting guarantee liability to the underlying commercial transaction and held the state-owned enterprise guarantor fully liable for an RMB 18 million financing obligation. The judgment represents the first reported precedent of its kind in Qingdao.

Employment Dispute Series for Hengfeng Bank Qingdao Branch

Successfully represented the bank in terminating the employment of employees for serious misconduct and withholding deferred compensation in full. The client prevailed throughout arbitration, first-instance proceedings, and appellate proceedings.
