QIU, Kristina

Ms. Qiu is  partner and attorney-at-law of AllBright Law Offices and works in Shanghai office. Ms. Qiu graduated from Peking University, holding a Master of Laws in Chinese Law and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in American Law. Her core practice areas cover corporate investment and M&A, cross-border investment and financing, as well as dispute resolution.

Dispute Resolution
Ms. Qiu specializes in handling complex civil and commercial dispute resolution matters. She has represented numerous commercial disputes including corporate equity disputes, private fund contract disputes, wealth management investment disputes, and investment exit disputes.
Since commencing her legal practice, Ms. Qiu has handled hundreds of dispute resolution cases heard before the Supreme People’s Court, people’s courts at all provincial and municipal levels, as well as arbitration institutions such as China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC), Shanghai Arbitration Commission (SHAC), Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC), and Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA). Her caseload includes a full spectrum of civil and commercial disputes and enforcement proceedings, among which multiple cross-border commercial disputes. She has extensive experience in legal representation and courtroom advocacy.
Drawing on rigorous legal expertise and substantial litigation experience, Ms. Qiu has successfully resolved numerous intricate disputes for clients.

Corporate Investment & M&A
With years of in-depth practice in asset management, private funds, and merger & restructuring, Ms. Qiu has provided ongoing general corporate counsel and project-specific legal advisory services for top asset management institutions, central and local SOEs, private fund and large private enterprises.
She has led and co-managed numerous landmark transactions, including corporate mergers, equity acquisitions, asset purchases, corporate restructurings, and refinancing initiatives for listed issuers.
She delivers end-to-end legal coverage spanning the full private fund lifecycle: fundraising, investment, portfolio oversight, and exit planning. Her robust track record covers transaction structuring, due diligence, drafting and negotiating deal documents, closing execution, and post-investment compliance governance, allowing her to safeguard clients’ commercial interests to the fullest extent possible.

Cross-Border Investment & Financing
Ms. Qiu provides specialized legal services for cross-border legal services covering cross-border equity investment, offshore financing, cross-border security arrangements and other foreign-related legal matters. She has taken lead and supporting roles on a wide range of inbound and outbound investment deals.
