Ms. Jin focuses on foreign direct investment, cross-border M&A and restructuring, and international civil and commercial dispute resolution. She has a strong competitive edge in Sino-South Korean and Sino-Japanese cross-border commercial legal practice, with integrated capabilities across both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Ms. Jin has advised on dozens of cross-border transactions involving M&A, equity disposals, and FDI between China and South Korea, as well as China and Japan. She regularly represents leading Korean multinationals including SK, Samsung, Hyundai and Shinsegae, as well as Chinese companies expanding globally. Her industry experience covers automotive, new energy, chemicals, retail, real estate and entertainment, with particular expertise in end-to-end implementation of cross-border transactions.
With solid experience in cross-border litigation and arbitration, she handles a broad range of international commercial disputes, including shareholder rights infringement, joint venture disputes and breach of contract claims. She is well-versed in the judicial approaches of Chinese, South Korean and Japanese courts, as well as international arbitration practice, and devises tailored dispute-resolution strategies for full-cycle case representation. She also integrates a dispute-prevention mindset into transactional work, identifying potential risks at an early stage and designing forward-looking contractual provisions and risk-mitigation mechanisms.
Ms. Jin regularly conducts compliance due diligence for multinational corporations, identifying key operational compliance risks and delivering targeted rectification proposals. She also provides ongoing legal advice in areas including international trade, labor and employment, and regulatory compliance, assisting clients in maintaining full legal and regulatory compliance.
Fluent in Chinese, Korean and Japanese, she excels in cross-cultural communication and facilitates seamless coordination between Chinese and foreign clients throughout cross-border matters.
