From September 24th to 27th, the 19th National Theatrical Film Promotion Conference in the Autumn of 2019 (“Promotion Conference”) was held in Foshan, Guangdong Province. Lawyer Leo Zheng, the senior partner of ALLBRIGHT Law Offices (“ALLBRIGHT”), was invited to attend the Promotion Conference, and delivered a keynote speech during the Seminar on New Opportunities for Film and Television Industry Cooperation in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as the representative of entertainment law experts.

From the perspective of a third-party service provider, lawyer Leo Zheng expressed his thoughts on the advantages, characteristics and potentials of Foshan's development of the film and television industry. He suggested that Foshan could make full use of IP matrixes such as Foshan Ceramics, Huang Feihong and Ye Wen to create better works; Foshan shall also attach importance to the protection of intellectual property rights and explore the establishment of an intellectual property arbitration court that focuses on the cultural industry under the favorable policies of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

According to relevant news, this Promotion Conference was guided by the National Film Bureau as well as the China Film Distribution and Screening Association, and was co-hosted by the national cinema chains. China Southern Film and the Publicity Department of CPC Foshan Municipal Committee jointly organized the Promotion Conference. Zhujiang Film Media Co., Ltd., Foshan Culture Development Investment Management Co., Ltd., Tencent Film Culture Communication Co., Ltd. and Chitai Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. also sponsored the Promotion Conference. It has attracted more than 600 participants from film production and management companies, distribution companies and service providers all over the country. The tribute motion pictures, including My People, My Country, the Climbers, Chinese Pilot, etc., all made their debut at this Promotion Conference.

Lawyer Leo Zheng attended the Promotion Conference and discussed the development of China's film industry together with other professions, striving to open up a broader publicity platform for ALLBRIGHT.
