On October 10, at the invitation of the Shanghai Bar Association, AllBright partner Andy Zhao delivered a lecture to an audience of 130 Shanghai lawyers on the Legal Perspective of Contractual Private Equity Fund Investment Operations in the auditorium of the Shanghai Bar Association. During the lecture, Mr. Zhao made a comparison between contractual private equity funds and limited partnership private equity funds with his years of experience and expertise in trust, asset management plans and private equity sectors. Then, Mr. Zhao elaborated on the accredited PE fund investor’s criteria and accrediting procedures, managers, trustees, the operation of financial leverage, commencement and filings for such funds, etc. Mr. Zhao also covered issues such as the regulatory supervision trends in private equity from a legal perspective. The lecture was well received by the audience who recognized Mr. Zhao’s expertise and experience.
