Dual qualified in mainland China and in New York State and as a fellow of the CIArb (FCIArb), Minli has practiced in dispute resolution, especially international arbitration, for years. Minli once was a Regional Representative of the International Chamber of Commerce Young Arbitration and ADR Forum (ICC YAAF) and is now a committee member of the Beihai Asia International Arbitration Centre (BAIAC, Singapore), a supporting member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA), a member of the Shanghai Arbitration Association, a committee member of the Arbitration Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association, and an external master-degree supervisor of the KoGuan Law School, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Minli also sits as an arbitrator and is on the panel of arbitrators of the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), the Borneo International Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (BICAM), the Langfang Arbitration Commission, the Nanjing Arbitration Commission, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, and admitted into the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) Arbitrator List, the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) List of Arbitrators, and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) List of Rising Arbitrators.

Minli has represented or advised clients in arbitration under the AIAC, CIETAC, HKIAC, ICC, LCIA, SIAC, FOSFA rules as well as the LMAA Terms. Minli has also frequently represented clients in Chinese domestic arbitrations/litigations and handled cases in the English High Court and Court of Appeal. In addition to her advocacy work, Minli also offers advisory work to both domestic and overseas clients on Chinese law.

Minli has particularly rich multi-jurisdictional experiences and network. In addition to her overseas study experiences in common law jurisdictions for her master and PhD degrees, she once was a visiting lawyer in a leading commercial set of barristers’ chambers in London for around two years.
