AllBright Client Receives Low Anti-dumping, Anti-subsidy Duties

 2014-08-135148

On August 13, 2014, Australia government’s Anti-Dumping Commission announced its ruling on the investigation against deep drawn stainless steel sinks imported from China. AllBright’s client Zhuhai Grand Kitchenware Co., Ltd. won the second lowest duty rate among all Chinese exporters. AllBright Beijing office’s international trade team advised the client.

Grand Kitchenware’s rate is 15.6 to 23 percentage points lower compared with nine other Chinese companies involved in the investigation. Other Chinese companies which did not defend themselves in the probe will face 61.5 percent duty rates. Thanks to its significantly lower duty rate, Grand Kitchenware’s products will become more competitive against those of other Chinese producers. The company is expected to expand its market share in Australia as a result.
