On the afternoon of March 13, 2014, the Shanghai Public Diplomacy Association held the 3rd plenary meeting of its first congress to elect six newly added members of its standing committee. During the meeting, AllBright partner Theresa Qiu was elected member of the Shanghai Public Diplomacy Association Standing Committee. The other five newly elected members included Ding Zuohong, chairman of Yuexing Group and Wang Junjin, chairman of Juneyao Group.

Feng Guoqin, member of the standing committee of CPPCC, deputy chairman of Shanghai CPPCC and deputy chairman of Shanghai Public Diplomacy Association, delivered a speech at the meeting.

The Shanghai Public Diplomacy Association has about 300 members, 60% of whom are Shanghai CPPCC members from all walks of life.
