AllBright and Bird & Bird Renew their Strategic Co-op Agreement

On 9th January 2023, AllBright Law Offices (“AllBright”) and Bird & Bird LLP (“Bird & Bird”) successfully held a virtual signing ceremony to renew their strategic cooperation agreement, marking a new stage of cooperation between the two parties.

AllBright and Bird & Bird signed their first Strategic Cooperation Agreement on 2nd November 2017. After the formal establishment of the strategic cooperation, both firms have been working together to develop relationships between the two organisations. Over the past five years, the strong working arrangement between AllBright and Bird & Bird has resulted in success across several areas such as joint brand promotion, business cooperation, professional training, resource sharing, globalization of services and international development.


Representatives taking part in the virtual signing ceremony were: AllBright Managing Partner, Mr. Gu Gongyun, AllBright Senior Partner, Mr. Shawn Zhang, Mr. Harry He, Mr. Jeffrey Yangand Mr. Bingguang Yu. Bird & Bird CEO Mr. Christian Bartsch; Bird & Bird Chairman of Asia Pacific, Mr. Justin Walkey; Bird & Bird Head of Corporate Development (Asia Pacific), Mr. Chris Woodforde and Bird & Bird Partner, Mr. John Shi.


Mr. Gu Gongyun and Mr. Christian Bartsch spoke on behalf of AllBright and Bird & Bird. Mr. Gu summarized the achievements of both parties in the past five years referencing the positive attitude both firms have adopted to the cooperation and wished both parties a prosperous future and a higher level of cooperation.


Christian Bartsch added “Bird & Bird values the opportunity to continue our formal relationship with AllBright and to continue working on interesting and high-profile pieces of work for both our organisations across a range of practice areas, sectors and geographies. We are honoured to have been in the Cooperation Agreement with AllBright as it has grown over the past five years, both domestically and internationally, and look forward to future success for both our organisations.”

After the speeches, Mr. Gu GongyunMr. Christian Bartsch, and Mr. Justin Walkey signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the parties. The strategic cooperation between the two parties will see the continuation of the support for each other and working together to write a new chapter between the two organisations.
