Free Trade Zone (FTZ) related services

In the context of the internationalization of the RMB, the establishment of an international financial center as well as an FTZ in Shanghai (SHFTZ) and advancement of national strategies such as the Belt and Road Initiative, AllBright is dealing with more and more legal matters concerning cross-border investment by enterprises and financial institutions. We are one of the leading firms in legal services for cross-border investment. We were also the first law firm with nationwide offices to orient legal practice to the linkage of four FTZs, the Belt and Road Initiative and the Going-Overseas policy, making us a pioneer and leader in the FTZ legal service area. After SHFTZ was established in 2013, AllBright was one of the first law firms to establish an office in SHFTZ. We also provide comprehensive legal services for the establishment of SHFTZ service platform for overseas investment (www.shftz.cn) and our firm was among the first legal service providers on this platform. We were also one of the first legal service providers to sign on to the “Tianjin Enterprise Going Global Service Alliance: Comprehensive Service Platform for Tianjin FTZ Outbound Investment and Financing”.  AllBright compiled and published the Shanghai FTZ White Paper (Chinese-English bilingual version), Fujian FTZ White Paper, and Tianjin FTZ White Paper. In June 2018, AllBright’s Managing Director Gu Gongyun and Senior Partner Yin Yande were employed as part-time legal counsels to the Communist Party of China Pudong New Area District Committee, Pudong New District Government and China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Administration Committee for a tenure of three years. In January 2016, AllBright’s Senior Partner Ye Fang was appointed as a part-time legal counsel to the SHFTZ Bonded Area Administration Committee for a tenure of two years and thereafter, in January 2018, she was re-appointed for a tenure of three years.
